What to Expect

To make the experience as smooth as possible for our patients we wanted to provide a few answers to questions we usually receive.  Please read this page for answers on what to expect, what to bring, and payment information

Appointment Time

We schedule your initial assessment for about 1 hour to ensure a thorough evaluation and treatment. Your follow appointments times are scheduled to last about 20 – 30 minutes depending on the intervention required. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Please proceed to online booking to view our cancellation policies.

What to Wear

We will be assessing your movement patterns. Do wear clothing that you are comfortable to move, be assessed and physically active in.

During your visit, it is often necessary to expose and touch areas of the body in need of treatment. Every effort is made to preserve modesty and keep you comfortable. Please communicate any concerns you may have during the assessment and treatment to your therapist.
You are a partner in your treatment program, as such, you are responsible to inform the therapist of any discomfort that you may be experiencing during the course of the assessment and treatment.

We offer only treatments that the therapist is qualified to provide. We will duly inform you about any risks that may or may not be associated with the assessments and treatments that we provide, including but not limited to Joint and muscle mobilizations and manipulations, exercise rehabilitation, Dry Needling, modalities (e.g heat, ice, Ultrasound, TENS, Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), Laser etc) and active exercise where appropriate.

At all times, you have the right to refuse any treatments and or techniques recommended by the therapist.

What to Bring

Your health card number, a pair of shorts and clean gym shoes.


Payment for service is due at the time physiotherapy services is provided. In some cases we can offer direct billing. Please ask if your health care provider is supported at the time of your appointment. If not, we are happy to provide you with necessary documents to submit a claim with your insurance company.
